Is our search racing towards a conclusion?....

In short..... no.

We have now visited 10 different venues, and looked at another 20 different brochures and immediately disregarded at least another 100 and you would be forgiven for thinking that we must have looked (online or in person) at every wedding venue in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire but the list is, apparently, never-ending!

Rosie did incredible work finding most of the venues we've visited so far but we haven't really fallen in love with any of them. They all have something going for them and they all have something against them. Compromise is, unfortunately, inevitable, especially when you don't have bottomless pockets like us.

(If you're wondering if I'm pulling my weight in the venue search, I am! But Rosie gets home from work a lot earlier than me so by the time I get home I need to update my diary with another booking she's made for another venue before I'd had much of a chance to look into it.)

And so I write this in between looking for a few more venues that we can consider and view or disregard. Our issue is that we've really only got weekends to go and view these places and we're running out of free weekends - the main problem of looking for a venue that's about an hour and a half away!

So if you live in the Worcester / Gloucestershire / Herefordshire area and know of any venues that can host a nice meal and has a function room for an evening-do we would be eternally grateful for the tip!
