Who saw that coming?!

Well... I did, for one.

And *poof*, just like that, our little blog became a wedding planning story board, charting our journey from engagement to marriage.

Oh by the way, WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!

In recent months we’ve been to London, to Eastbourne, to the South Downs, the Isle of Wight, the Welsh seaside, the Peak District, gardens and parks galore. But after all that, once we were home and while the cups of tea were brewing, I got down on bended knee and asked Rosie to marry me. Right there in the kitchen. Although a little confused she said yes and now an absolute can of worms of questions has been opened as we try and figure what we’re doing!

Neither of us want to be the centre of attention but that’s going to be unavoidable so all we know is it will likely be small (now I’m thinking we really missed the boat by not having a COVID wedding!) and neither of us want it to drag on and on and on like some engagements do so it’ll likely be in the next 18 months to 2 years.

Now all we have to sort out is when it’s going to be, where it’s going to be, what form it will take, who’s going to be invited, where the food, the flowers and the outfits will come from and most fundamentally of all, how we are going to pay for it. Simple.
